How to Prepare for Your ElevateMD Lab Panel
Getting your labs done with ElevateMD is simple — here's everything you need to know so there are no surprises on draw day.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Most panels require a 10-12 hour fast. That means no food or caloric beverages after midnight the night before. Water is fine (and encouraged — staying hydrated makes the draw easier). Black coffee without cream or sugar is generally okay, but check with your physician if you're unsure.
Continue taking your regular medications unless your physician specifically tells you otherwise. If you're on biotin supplements, stop them 72 hours before your draw — biotin can interfere with certain hormone and thyroid assays.
WHAT TO BRING
  • A valid photo ID (driver's license or passport)
  • - Your lab requisition (you'll receive this via email from Fullscript after payment)
  • - Your insurance card if applicable (most ElevateMD panels are self-pay, but some patients have lab benefits)
WHERE TO GO
If you chose Quest Diagnostics: Walk-ins are welcome at any Quest Patient Service Center — no appointment needed. Find your nearest location at questdiagnostics.com. Mornings tend to be less crowded.
If you chose Labcorp: Same deal — walk-ins accepted at any Labcorp location. Find yours at labcorp.com.
If you chose At-Home (GetLabs): A licensed phlebotomist comes to you. You'll receive scheduling instructions separately.
THE DRAW ITSELF
The blood draw typically takes 5-10 minutes. If you tend to feel lightheaded, let the phlebotomist know — they can have you lie down. Drink plenty of water afterward.
AFTER YOUR DRAW
Results typically come back in 3-5 business days. Here's what happens next:
  1. Your physician reviews every single marker — not just a quick glance, but a thorough analysis through a longevity optimization lens
  2. 2. You'll receive an email and text when your results are ready
  3. 3. You can view your results summary in your patient portal
  4. 4. If your physician recommends a supplement protocol based on your results, you'll receive a personalized link
