Getting Recurring Events to Show Correctly in CalSync Planner

To ensure recurring events appear at the correct time in your planner:

✔️ 1. Set a timezone for every recurring event

Google → Open event → click Time Zone → choose your timezone

Outlook → Set timezone for both Start and End

✔️ 2. Your calendar’s timezone should match your planner’s timezone

If they differ, CalSync will convert event times into the planner’s timezone.

This is intentional so your planner reflects your local writing time.

✔️ 3. If a recurring event has no timezone, CalSync will try to interpret it

CalSync has advanced logic to repair incomplete ICS files,

but accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

✔️ 4. If you travel internationally

Your planner will not automatically shift old events.

You must regenerate or create timezone-specific planners.
