Shark Logic & The Cold Wetsuit Test 🦈🥶
In today’s Mindset Friday, I’m sharing the raw truth about what it took to dive the deep water of Molokai in a 17-foot Whaler.
The "Comfort Crowd" will always try to use logic to keep you on the shore. They’ll talk about the rain, the lack of a cabin, and the misery of a wet wetsuit at dawn. They’ll warn you about the sharks. But they forget that the sharks are exactly where the fish are. If you want the reward, you have to accept the risk and the discomfort. High performance isn't about being "comfortable"—it’s about being willing to endure the "wet wetsuit" moments to get to the New Territory.
[MEMBER EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP: THE CHANNEL AUDIT]
1. The 'Wet Wetsuit' Moment: What is the one task or habit you’ve been avoiding because it’s "uncomfortable" or "miserable" to start?
2. Shark Logic: Where is the "scary" territory in your life right now? (Hint: That’s usually where the biggest prize is hiding).
3. The Crew Audit: Look at your inner circle. Are they "Safe Harbor" people or "Channel Crossing" people?
I’m waiting for your audits in the comments. Are you putting on the wetsuit this weekend, or staying in bed?
