We had a great conversation at today's Coffee Hour on navigating career change. Sharing some of the resources we talked about in hopes it helps others:
- Consulting opportunities - I've worked closely with SEI (https://www.sei.com/) and regularly attend their networking events. It's a great way to "think outside the box" and explore alternative career paths
- Small and Mid-cap Careers - while "Big Pharma" and "Big Tech" are undergoing layoffs and hiring freezes, start-ups and mid-size companies are receiving fresh rounds of capital to invest in growth! - Networking Events Reveal Broader Opportunities - join industry groups like https://iapp.org/iapp-calendar/ to hear directly from executives on speaker panels and learn the problems they're facing (i.e. what they'll be looking for in the next wave of hiring)
