Hi and welcome to surviving as a nurse in and emergency department
I am Anne and I have worked in my Emergency Department since completing my Post Grad in 2011.
Please introduce yourself and tell me how long you have been nursing and what department. Do you work in Emergency or would like to but are nervous at the thought. I was when I started, now I love it. The excitement of never knowing what will come through the door. Yes I still get nervous and overwhelmed some times but this can be a good thing because it makes you step back and think about what is important right then and there.
Further down the line, once I know how Skool works, I will offer a Nurse Survival Kit, a thirty day course with lots of hints and tips for surviving in ED. It will also have Real-World tool kit to download.
So let's go on this journey together. I will share with you my knowledge of surviving ED nursing.
