🛒 … (Hey Sellers READ THIS)
A lot of new sellers think once they get Approved… they can sell anything.
❌ Wrong.
Let me break this down SIMPLE using a grocery store:
🏪 CATEGORY = THE GROCERY STORE
Getting ungated in a category (like Grocery)= You now have permission to walk into the store.
That’s it.
You’re inside… but you can’t just grab anything off the shelves yet.
🛍️ BRAND = THE PRODUCTS INSIDE THE STORE
Each brand (like snacks, coffee, etc.)= Individual products sitting on the shelves.
👉 And guess what?
Some of those brands are LOCKED.
So even though you’re in the store…you STILL need permission to sell certain brands.
☕ REAL EXAMPLE
Let’s say you get ungated in Grocery ✅
You go to sell coffee…
But a brand like Starbucks is restricted ❌
That means:
- You can sell OTHER coffee brands
- But NOT that one until you get ungated for it specifically
🚫 COMMON MISTAKE👇
Some New sellers think:
“I got ungated in Grocery, I’m good to go!”
Then BOOM 💥They try listing a brand-name product… and get blocked.
