and I run businesses that often require us to travel both here in the UK and abroad, and our two dogs - Molly and Pip - come with us whenever possible. They’re family. We moved to a cottage in the countryside so they could have the life they deserve: long walks, muddy paws, the occasional pheasant chase (best not tell the farmer)!
Over the years we’ve learned how much difference it makes when you know where to go, what to buy, and who to trust. “Dog-friendly” doesn’t always mean dog-welcoming. The same goes for toys, food, or sitters - some are brilliant, some best avoided.
That’s why we started Dog People. It’s a place for anyone who wants to give their dog the best possible life - and help others do the same.
We’re also building DogPeople.life: a community-powered directory of genuinely dog-friendly places and products. Eventually, members will be able to add listings, share reviews, and earn affiliate commissions as we grow. But first, we want your input. What would make this community worth checking in on each week?
- Stories, reviews, or recommendations?
- Tips on travel, training, or health?
- Challenges, meetups, or giveaways?
- Something else?
