Thor Month - Third - Thorsdag (Thursday)
As I mentioned, there is a historical perspective around the Month of March to be Thor's Month in Scandinavia.
The following poem which I pulled from the book I mentioned, The Nordic Animist Year, gives a glimpse at this holy dynamic.
Den førsete Torsdag i Thor
Tamper tranen de danskes jord.
Den anden Torsdag går hun i enge,
Og den tredje følger hun bonden til senge.
On the first Thursday of Thor,
the crane treads the land of the Danes.
On the second she goes to the meadows,
and on the third she follows the farmer to bed.
It is speculated in the book that the crane represents a feminine arrival that is signaled earlier in the year and thus "following the farmer to bed" means a blessing of all that has been planted.
SO! Take this time to assess and ask Thor to bless what you've planted - the boundaries you're creating - and thank him for reminding you of the strength inside yourself that protects your Heart.
