“Trust in Him at all times… pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.”
This verse is such a comfort because it reminds us that we do not have to come to God polished or put together. We can come honest.
Sometimes prayer looks less like a peaceful, well-worded moment and more like a messy letter from a tired heart. Full of grief, questions, fear, and things we do not know how to say right.
Psalm 62:8 reminds us to bring all of that to God. Not the cleaned-up version. Not the “I’m fine” version. The real version.
God is not overwhelmed by your honesty. He is your refuge, your safe place, and He welcomes everything your heart needs to pour out.
