Starting Over (Without the Pressure to Be Perfect) - Lamentations 3:23
Some mornings feel like a reset…not because everything is fixed, but because you need a fresh start.
Maybe yesterday didn’t go how you planned. Maybe you’re carrying frustration, regret, or just that “ugh, I could’ve done better” feeling.
But here’s the truth—God doesn’t hand you a new day with pressure. He hands you a new day with mercy.
Lamentations 3:23 reminds us that His mercies are new every morning. Not after you figure everything out. Not after you get it right. Every morning.
So today isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being willing to begin again.
🙏 Morning Prayer
God, thank You for this new day and the fresh mercy that comes with it.
Help me release what didn’t go right yesterday. Quiet the pressure to be perfect and remind me that Your grace is enough for me.
Give me peace as I start again, and help me move forward with trust, not fear.
Amen
✍️ Journal Prompt
What am I still holding onto from yesterday—and what would it look like to release it and fully receive a fresh start today?
