It’s possible to keep going…and still drift.
To stay consistent. To do the right things. To show up in faith…
And yet, somewhere along the way, lose the closeness we once had with God.
In Revelation 2:3–5, Jesus acknowledges their endurance… but gently calls them back:
“You have forsaken the love you had at first.”
That hits deep.
Because this is not about losing faith entirely…
It’s about losing connection.
The intimacy. The hunger. The simple joy of being with Him.
Sometimes life gets busy. Routine takes over. And our relationship with God becomes more about habit than heart.
But Jesus does not call us out to shame us.
He calls us back to restore us.
Back to where love was real, personal, and alive.
So today, this is your gentle reminder:
You don’t have to stay distant.
Come back. Slow down. Reconnect.
Your first love is still waiting for you.
