Lately, all of the things I need to do every day have started to feel like a burden. I catch myself thinking, “I have to do this today. I’ve got to do that today.”
The language we use shapes the way we feel about what we do.
When we operate from an “I have to” mindset, everything feels like an obligation. It builds pressure, drains motivation, and creates resentment — both for us and the people around us.
But when we shift to an “I get to” mindset, everything changes.
✨ “I get to work on this project.”
✨ “I get to build my business today.”
✨ “I get to take care of my children today.”
Suddenly, the same tasks feel like opportunities instead of burdens. Gratitude and enthusiasm naturally rise.
💡 Challenge for the week:
Catch yourself every time you say “I have to…” and reframe it to “I get to…”.Notice how it changes your energy, your focus, and the way others respond to you.
