Drawing tip from Witch Hat Atelier
I just finished season 1 of Witch Hat Atelier and one of my favorite things from the art is how they add THICKNESS to the fabrics! There are multiple ways we can do this:
- Overlapping or showing thickness from where fabrics overlap each other (ie. layers on hat, ties over pants)
- Showing edges and seams where fabric is sewn together
- Following the form with shading especially if using hatching lines
