Dear White & Non-Black POC,
Black women don’t need your permission to exist. We don’t owe you explanations for our choices. That’s the enslavers' blood running through your veins talking.
We don’t communicate, think, or speak like you. We have our own culture and dialect, and our existence needs no explanation. Your lack of cultural awareness is a you problem. Remember that.
