Plz help: React has with Headless Wordpress

Hey guys,

I landed the deal with the restaurant and want to know if anyone knows how what I want to do might work.

Frontend: React.js + TailwindCSS + Framer Motion

Backend (CMS): WordPress + WPGraphQL

Data Fetching: Apollo Client / URQL

Deployment: WP on Hostinger, React.js on Netlify/Vercel

I want the frontend to be custom, using React, and th backends to be Wordpress CMS (so biz owner can do small edits if they ever want to.)

Want to use this Framer theme for the website:

Don’t know how to do Wordpress themes from scratch which is why I want to do the Frontend in React.

Am I doing to much here? Is it best to stick to one thing like Wordpress or React? Should I create a custom Dashboard for Biz owner to do edits themselves?

Project is simple website. Have not discussed hosting. Will do on onboarding call. I do think he’ll might want me to manage it, but am not 100% sure about that.

I am not familiar with the APIs and Data fetching but I think it would be something good to learn.
