Lewis is very approachable and knowledgeable. He himself is experienced in running, training and even mentality. I am impressed by that he has his own taste about running training. It means he doesn't just copy a plan from others. He knows why it should be like that. You know, finding a plan is easy in the world of AI. But you cannot learn that kind of "taste" from AI (at least now) And he is familiar with Lydiard training and recommends a book for me, which is interesting to learn

Joined earlier in the year with Lewis to help me build towards the Manchester marathon next year. He has been great with a plan set with different blocks through the year. Along the way I’ve improved so much with general fitness and getting PBs along the way. Half marathon going down by 5 minutes and getting very close to my sub 20min 5k goal which is the target for the end of the year. Lewis makes sure the training is not overloading my body along side my CrossFit training.

I’d been running for 5 months when I first engaged Lewis as my coach in August 2025. My 10k PR was 49:06 (4.55 / km). My goal was to run marathon but I knew I needed help because I kept on getting injured when I'd try to run further or faster. With Lewis' guidance I completed my first marathon in July 2026 (at 42 years old) in a time of 3hr 23min (4.48 / km). I chose Lewis as a coach because of his obvious passion for running and his authentic, personal approach.

Joined Lewis Jan 2026 after a rough Tokyo Marathon 2025 block — constant niggles (ankle, hamstring) and a painful marathon run/walk finish quad cramp Since training with Lewis, my 5K parkrun PB has dropped from low-30s to 28:16, and for the first time in ages I’ve stayed injury-free — strength work is part of the plan. Currently looking at Chicago Marathon sub 440. Feeling strong in the marathon training block

Lewis has got me running about 54km a week up from 35k before. I have never felt better, fresher and stronger. Oh, and my 5k PB went from 23:45 to 22:30 in first 8 weeks. I haven’t even started speed phase yet! Lewis knows his stuff and always replies to my questions within 24 hrs, which is pretty good as I’m in Australia and Lewis is in England. Best coach ever!
