I built a simple web app to help you understand your calories ๐ข
I just launched a small tool that calculates your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure):
What is TDEE? Your TDEE is the total number of calories your body burns in a day. It includes:
- Your baseline metabolism (energy your body uses just to stay alive)
- Daily movement (walking, chores, workouts)
- Activity level (sedentary โ very active)
In short: itโs the real number your body needs to maintain its current weight.
Why TDEE matters?
Most people guess calories and end up:
- Eating too little โ low energy, burnout
- Eating too much โ stalled fat loss
- Randomly cutting without understanding why results stop
Knowing your TDEE lets you:
- Eat at maintenance (stay the same weight)
- Create a healthy deficit (fat loss)
- Eat in a surplus (muscle gain)
- Stop relying on guesswork
This app gives you a clear starting point so calories actually make sense.
Built it to be simple, fast, and no fluff.
If you try it, let me know what you think or what features would be useful next ๐
