Most of us were trained to think in threads. Straight lines. Linear cause and effect.
Problem → Solution.Cause → Effect.Action → Result.
Pull this thread, get that outcome. Simple. Clean. Predictable.
And for a lot of human history, that worked pretty well. The world moved slow enough that you could treat things as separate. You could isolate variables. You could say “this caused that” and be mostly right.
But here’s the thing: the world was never actually that simple. We just pretended it was because it made things easier to manage.
And now? Now we can’t afford that pretense anymore.
