I started cleaning out my basement because I didn't have anywhere to put all my stuff. I have a wife and 3 kids so all their things take up the main part of the house. I realized I get great wifi down there so I figured I'd make it my office. Then I thought, that would be cool if I could get the AI to talk to me as if having a real conversation.
I kept thinking about more and more ways to make it cool and just decided to see if I could build my own Jarvis like AI, but didn't find much out there besides "use home assistant or Alexa". Well, I want it cooler than that and I don't want to be dependent on Amazon or any other megalithic corporation. So this is my journey to create my own version of that. Real, Personal, Private.
I call him Odin.
