Introduction
Hey everyone!
I was a communications pastor for over five years. I developed into that role due to necessity during California's COVID lockdowns. I've been married to my wife Quincey for over 11 years. We have a four-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. We've lived in Anderson, South Carolina since 2021, which has been big change for us Californians.
As someone who grew up in church and came to faith at an early age, my walk with Jesus has been a long up and down journey. Around age 15, I felt a call to ministry. I served in various ministries through my teenage, college, and post college years. I earned a BA in English from Biola and an MDiv from Talbot Theological Seminary (Biola's seminary). After working for my brother as a videographer and photographer, selling and caring for parrots at Omar's Exotic Birds, being a crew member at Trader Joe's, and helping manage the Houzz community, I landed a pastoral residency position at Ambassador Church. Then came COVID. As the techy guy, I put our church online.
When I moved, I became the Communications Pastor for a local church. It ended up being the wrong fit.
Pastoring was very different from what I imagined. Currently, I'm taking on freelance communications, marketing, and design work.
