One of the most important conversations you absolutely need to have with your boys is what to do if they get caught up in sending an image to a flirtatious “girl” online.
When a boy gets caught up in an online conversation with someone they think is a flirtatious girl they get a rush of hormones and don’t think about the consequences of doing what is asked.
You can’t have the conversation just once but multiple times. If your child has a phone then age doesn’t matter, you need to have the conversation. Too many parents think this wouldn’t happen to their 8 to 11 year old but it is happening.
