Most of you know Stacey. She's a Member here at Crust & Crumb Academy and a student in From Oven to Market, she's always encouraging people in the threads, and she bakes a good sourdough loaf. What some of you might not know is that she just published a book, and I want to tell you about it. Stop Striving, Start Becoming: Aligning Your Life with God's Purpose, Spirit, Soul, Body is for people who are tired. Tired of pushing. Tired of measuring themselves by what they produce. Tired of feeling like they're always one more accomplishment away from being enough. Stacey's answer isn't "try harder." It's the opposite. She makes the case that who you are was settled before you ever did a thing, that God knew you before your first breath, and that real change starts when you stop performing and start living from that. She doesn't sell it as a quick fix, and I like that. She calls it slow, sacred work, rebuilding from the inside out. And she covers the whole person: spirit, soul, and body. Your faith isn't kept apart from how you eat, how you rest, or how you spend your days. Purpose shows up in ordinary life. She's lived this. Stacey grew up in Montana, built a successful career, and gave her life to Christ at 36. The road after that wasn't straight. There were hard seasons, restoration, and a return to the creativity she'd set aside for years: writing, sketching, painting, baking. The book comes out of all of that. Bakers will get this right away. You can't force a dough. You can't rush fermentation. You set up the right conditions, give it time, and let it become what it's meant to be. Stacey is writing about the same thing in a human life. If you're running on empty right now, or you know someone who is, pick this up. It would also make a thoughtful Christmas gift. 📘 Get it on Amazon: https://link.amazon/B03Fn4vzD If you read it, go back and leave her a review. For a new author, reviews make a big difference.
