Walking Alchemy
Growing up, people would hear my backstory and their first reaction was always sympathy. Not empathy, sympathy. It confused me because shouldn’t I be seen as a warrior, not someone to be coddled or pitied? Looking back, I see where learned helplessness comes from in society. You’re taught to relinquish your strength, your inner knowing, and turn it into believing that you are in fact a victim. Victims always have an excuse, and easily controlled by fear, circumstance and the past. They siphon energy into their pool of chaos and turmoil.
I don’t work with victims. I exchange energy with people that may not have all the answers but for damn sure are going to find them. With alchemists that don’t accept what they’re given, they always somehow create better for themselves. I work with the ones who are on a path of knowing better, wanting better, and allowing themselves to be better, while knowing they are worthy every step of the way. Sound familiar? Good. Because that’s you. That’s why you’re here. Thanks for being here, Alchemist.
Take a second to reflect on where you were a year ago. 5 years ago.
Go back your darkest moment.
Look at how far you’ve come.
You consistently chose you.
In this container, you are going to do that over and over again. You’re going to keep loving yourself so much, that you grow, glow and shine as your whole Self, your Soul Self. Join me for a meditation this Sunday, 11am CST. Presence, power, gratitude.
