1️⃣
Define the one person you help (so strangers know in 3 seconds)
Most Facebook profiles try to speak to everyone.
So they end up saying nothing.
Your profile is not your life story, it is a quick “what I do and who it is for” page.
Here is a simple 3-part filter:
Who do you help.
What outcome do you help them get.
What problem do you remove.
Example:
“I help busy mums build strength at home (without 2 hour gym sessions).”
If someone reads your first lines and thinks “that is me,” they keep scrolling.
If they think “not for me,” that is also good, it repels the wrong people.
This makes every post you write work harder, because people already know what to expect from you.
👉 Do this now: Write one sentence using “I help (who) get (result) without (pain).”
2️⃣
Fix your first impression stack (photo, cover, name line)
People decide if you are “worth listening to” fast.
Your job is to remove friction.
Start with your profile photo.
Use a clear face shot, good light, simple background.
No tiny group photos, no sunglasses, no logo (unless you are a brand account).
Then the cover photo.
Use it like a billboard.
One promise, one proof point, one way to take the next step.
Micro framework:
Promise: what you help with.
Proof: who you have helped, or what you have done.
Path: where to go next.
Example cover text:
“Daily sales systems for service businesses
100+ audits, simple fixes
Start here: Featured post below”
This makes your profile feel “built,” not accidental.
👉 Do this now: Replace your cover photo with one line promise plus one next step (Featured post).
3️⃣
Rewrite your intro bio like a landing page (not a resume)
Your bio should not list your job titles.
It should answer the reader’s silent questions:
What do you do.
Is this for me.
Can I trust you.
What should I do next.
Use this 4-line bio template:
Line 1: who you help + outcome
Line 2: how you do it (your method)
Line 3: proof (specific, but not hype)
Line 4: call to action (what to click)
Example:
“I help new coaches get clients from Facebook.
Simple content + simple DMs.
Booked 23 calls in 30 days (organic).
Start with my pinned post.”
Keep it plain.
No long emoji chains.
No “7 figure” anything unless you can prove it and it helps the reader.
👉 Do this now: Update your intro section with 4 short lines using the template above.
4️⃣
Create one “Featured” path that guides the right people
Most profiles have random posts at the top.
So new visitors bounce.
Your job is to build a small guided tour.
You want 1 to 3 featured items, in this order:
1) Start here post (your best overview and offer)
2) Proof post (wins, screenshots, stories, case study)
3) Value post (a helpful checklist that shows your style)
Your “Start here” post should include:
Who it is for.
What you help with.
3 common mistakes.
Your simple process.
One clear CTA.
Example CTA options:
“Comment START and I will send the checklist.”
“DM me ‘AUDIT’ and I will look at your profile.”
“Grab the free guide in the first comment.”
Now people know where to go, instead of guessing.
👉 Do this now: Pick 1 post and make it your “Start here” featured item, then add 1 proof post.
5️⃣
Make it easy to DM you (and tell people what to say)
If your profile is a traffic asset, it should turn attention into conversations.
Do not rely on “let me know if you need anything.”
Give a clear, low effort next step.
Add a simple DM invite in your bio, and repeat it in your pinned post.
Use a short script that feels normal:
"Hey, if you’re (who) and you want (result), DM me the word ‘(keyword)’. I’ll reply with (asset or next step)."
Examples:
DM “PROFILE” for a 10-minute profile checklist.
DM “OFFER” for a quick offer clarity worksheet.
DM “AUDIT” and I will send 3 quick fixes.
This works because it removes the awkward first message.
It also filters who is serious.
👉 Do this now: Choose one keyword and add it to your bio and your pinned post.
6️⃣
Clean your “trust trail” (last 9 posts) to match your promise
People scroll your last posts to see if you are consistent.
If your last 9 posts are random, your profile feels unsafe.
Do a quick content balance.
Micro framework: 3-3-3 grid
3 value posts (teach one thing)
3 proof posts (results, stories, behind the scenes)
3 personal posts (relatable, values, why you care)
This is not about faking a brand.
It is about matching your profile to what you say you do.
Example:
If your bio says you help people get clients, but your last posts are all memes and meals, your conversion drops.
Also, pin one short comment under each post that points to your keyword.
👉 Do this now: Look at your last 9 posts and replace or hide anything that fights your promise.
7️⃣
The Real Timeline (Based on real world pacing):
Day 1 (30 minutes)
Update profile photo, cover, and 4-line bio.
Pick your keyword and add it to your bio.
Day 2 (45 minutes)
Create or rewrite your “Start here” post.
Add 1 proof post and feature both.
Week 1 (3 to 5 short sessions)
Fix your last 9 posts using the 3-3-3 grid.
Add a simple CTA comment under your best 3 posts.
Weeks 2 to 4 (10 minutes per day)
Post one small value post daily.
Reply to every comment and DM with your keyword flow.
Track which posts send the most profile visits.
