Hey Guys, We followed the Ad Account Launch Framework in Native Ad Machine. Which is a CBO campaign with two adsets and 4 ads per adset. Problem is, Facebook has allocated most of the budget only to few creative, and hasn't really given any chance for the other creative to spend so they can be tested. What should we do here? Just leave it but it's not really given the UGC content we spent so much time on (which is solid) sufficient budget for testing.

Hi @Noah Hunter Dorsey and @Hugh O'Donnell The resource links for NATIVE ADS MACHINE are not working (no permissions, not even to Make a Copy): 1. Influencer Outreach Template (Module 4, Creators) 2. Secret Ad Swipe File (Bonuses) Thank you!

Hi, I'm trying to find 'check in' feature in new the experience page, and I can't seem to find it. Can anyone can advise, where I can find this as use to be under the map in the about section?

Hey, @Noah Hunter Dorsey and @Hugh O'Donnell thank you for all your insights, I have completed all three courses and they have been super great. I would like to now cancel my subscription before the next instalment goes out. I understand I will be missing out on future discussions and the new content you upload. I am still considering purchasing a UGC package if that is still an option.

Something I've noticed, pretty much overnight is how the world's perception of writing did a complete 360! It's gone from: "Seriously no one cares about writing, it doesn't matter anymore!" To this: "Writing is the most important thing! chatGPT our saviour! Writing is so important!" (go back and re-read that in the most corporate tone you could imagine 🏙️) I love this shift don't get me wrong but what caused this momentum swing ... chatGPT. I've been on it day in day out for the past month testing and experimenting what works and what doesn't, and let me tell you what I've found: ✅ chatGPT should be considered as a robot perched on your shoulder ❌ chatGPT is not a creator of content, YOU ARE! Instead of treating it as a microwave that's going to cook up your copy and content in seconds, use it to do the following: 🧠 Brainstorm 📝 Refine and edit your brilliant ideas 🤯 Act as a sounding board for when you have writers block If there's one thing that's been made clear in the first month of 2023... it's that WRITTING MATTERS! Have you jumped on chatGPT? What are your thoughts?

We have experienced this and it is something to be aware of! We come across a creator that looks great, they have great video examples and we send them a brief to film content. When it comes to them returning content, we have high expectations then we realise they haven't filmed content themselves and that someone has filmed them in content, so the content they filmed isn't as high quality as the examples they sent in. This means we require revisions and it blows out timelines. Instagram is one to be aware of, many photos and reels of creators looking amazing are often shot by photographers/videographers and have not been edited by the creator. TikTok is a platform where you can see what content they have filmed and edited themselves (but you can't message them if you both aren't following each other). So if you find someone you love on TikTok who is creating great content themselves - search for their TikTok handle on Instagram and reach out that way (they often have the same handle across socials or send them an email if they have their email listed!) Always check creators are creating content themselves (and not having someone film and edit it with the creator featuring in it!)

Hi everyone, Got a lot of value out of the NAM course, just a question regarding the aspect ratio of FB ads: Is it best to upload in 9:16 and let Facebook crop the video where necessary, or should we upload 4:5 AND 9:16 videos and manually choose the placements to suit? Cheers!

Just wanted to share one of our favourite TikToks from a brand we are managing on the platform. It can be so simple to add a trending sound and some copy to turn some footage into a winning ad.

This is our newest running CC Facebook ad. Lately, we've been utilising this podcast-style format and seeing fantastic results with this approach. You can watch the full video here: https://f.io/1F9uUrlU

While creating content for social media, it's pretty easy to just rely on Premiere and Photoshop for all of your content, which are both amazing and endlessly useful tools. But when you look into what else is possible in the creative cloud, the possibilities for vitality are endless. An example is, a slightly newer program, Adobe character animate. Have a brand that has a mascot or character included in its branding? Drop it into Adobe Character Animate and you can suddenly have your mascot narrating your videos, this is a technique often used on platforms like youtube or twitch but it is making its way onto TikTok. 3d programs are also becoming easier and easier to use. There are so many programs that can open new doors for your content, it's just about trying them out. Adobe posts tons on their socials about how successful accounts are breaking content barriers with their super-accessible software. I often will take a look at what their posting and take inspiration for what I'm working on next.

@Lucas Spinella I've watched the crafting angles video a couple of times and I’m still honestly at a bit of a loss as to how to pull ideas out of the avatar document for potential angles (you had most of your angles already set up in the document) …it would be great to see your thought process for how you look at each of those sections in the avatar document, what you’re looking for and how you turn those ideas and bullet points into something that could be an angle..? You also mentioned that most people miss a dominant emotion aspect to their angle, I’m wondering how you use emotion to help craft your angles…? Big thanks in advance!

Hey guys! ...on adding text when video editing in Native Ads, @Noah Hunter Dorsey mentioned using a TikTok style font - what is the name of the font you're using there? ...and are you just creating the text in the likes of Photoshop? Can you please share how you're creating the text that you place on the video timeline? Big thanks in advance!

Hey Guys, I have been researching all sorts of types of facebook ads - before and afters, reviews, stills, videos + 50 more. I have just ended up with heaps of ideas and not sure where to start. What is the best way to prioritize and arrange my tests and keep track of my learnings off the platform. Do you guys use Monday.com or Notion etc? What is your board layout? Sorry its a bit of a random question haha

Hey guys, today i'm sharing something that probably you guys already seen it before, or even used it in your brand. Pre-sell pages. Its kinda counterintuitive to throw traffic to a page before you product page. 1. The user will have more barriers till the checkout 2. More clicks before buying 3. Raised the chance to them bouncing out But, we ran multiple tests at Shine and Javy and realized that using pre-sells is a money making machine and can 2,3,4x your CR% and cut you CAC by more than a HALF! In the book: Breakthrough Advertising, written by the GOD of copywriting, Eugene Schwartz, he said: "Don't sell anything until the person its already sold" And thats why pre-sells are essentials while running Direct Traffic. These the best performing pre-sells we used last year. Use it to get inspiration and adapt to your own brand - https://try.javycoffee.com/a/a12/ - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/6-reasons-scratch/au.html - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/a3/ - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/6-reasons-fqc/

Hey all! Looking for some advice/info about FB ads. I am about to launch a new campaign and want to just focus on broad targeting. In @Noah Hunter Dorsey 's ad account video, he says he starts by running 2 adsets each with 3-4 ads in each. Is there any difference between these two adsets? What would be the benefit of splitting them up? The campaign would exit the learning phase quicker if I just had them all in the one adset. I've also been told that they'll bid against each other if I do it this way. Just want some clarification on this, and whether this is still how CC are doing things :) Also want to say how beneficial these courses have been to my business! Super excited to get a whole new set of ads going using NAM's process 🙌

This TikTok trending audio (tiktok.com/ZTRsXJr6U/) is originally a clip from the 2006 American comedy-drama film The Devil Wears Prada. The audio gained popularity after the creator Victor Ramos (tiktok.com/@vicmram) posted a video reenacting this scene from the movie. The original audio has been used in 29.6K videos so far. We used this trend for our client essano™. The video already has 66.4K+ views. You can watch it here: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTRs3smk1/

I’m hearing this constantly, especially from new ecommerce founders. But after creating ads for 600+ brands, And being able to look inside facebook ad accounts… Here’s the truth. Facebook Ads don’t work in 2022 - IF you’re doing it the old way. It’s true, since iOS, it is getting harder to scale. Costs have increased. It's harder to track. Ads die faster. I’m not going to sugar coat it and say that it’s “easy” It’s hard. But it’s very very doable. (and to be honest, it’s the only option to actually scale) Here’s how we’re winning with facebook ads in 2022: #1 Stop “Media Buying” Hacks Most marketing agencies make their money off this. And it doesn’t work. Every month there’s some new tactic and strategy to try and “outsmart the facebook algorithm”. Audience-testing/ Different bid optimisations. It’s BS. Sure, it can get you quick wins, but long-term your campaigns will die and your results will be inconsistent. Instead, you want to let the algorithm do its thing. Spend more on a single broad audience and let it rip. Our media buyer literally uses open targeting (no targeting at all) and lets the algorithm do its thing. Yes, it does take a few days to warm up, but when it does you can eventually scale and get super consistent results. But this won’t work unless you have solid creative, and more specifically: #2 Short, Punchy UGC Video Ads With reels, TikTok & shorts being hot right now, Attention spans are shorter, Which means your video ads need to be shorter too. They need to be snappy, with quick cuts, and sell your product quickly & effectively. This means higher % watch time, lower costs, cheaper purchases and ultimately more room for scale. As a rule, ideally the product & main value prop is in the first 5 seconds. Plus ideally, the actual video goes for 15-30 seconds. So by: #1 Letting the FB Algorithm do it’s thing & #2 Creating short, snappy UGC videos You’ll give your store the best chance at winning on Facebook in 2022. (We’ve worked with 600+ brands, so we know that this is working right now)

I love learning from the best copywriters in the world and someone who has always stood out to me is David Abbott! His regarded as the greatest copywriter of his generation and and his tips have helped many businesses create effective advertisements. Here's how you can instil his wisdom in your work! 1. Personalize your work: Let your experiences, interests, and emotions guide your vision. This will help you create content that resonates with your target audience. If something interests you, moves you, annoys you - it's pretty much a guarantee that it will do the same to others. 2. Visualize first: Use visuals to tell your story and let your copy enhance the creative, not carry it. If I was to ask you how to describe a circle, you wouldn't explain it with your words, you would describe it with actions. 3. Facts will always persuade people, start pushing yourself to write a list of your facts and then for each point find a way you can highlight this without listing it. 4. Confessing your sins will save your soul. Admit to real and relatable issues that draw your audience in and help them connect with your brand. 5. STOP BEING BORING! I know this sounds like an obvious but when your assessing your content you have to be ruthless and eliminate anything that is dull or unengaging! Think about it as if you have no emotional attachment to your brand, extra points if you can act like you hate it haha! Your rose coloured glasses aren't helping you out! By following these tips, you can create advertisements that are effective, engaging, and impactful. Let me know if you need any help or have any questions below!
