Hi everyone, Got a lot of value out of the NAM course, just a question regarding the aspect ratio of FB ads: Is it best to upload in 9:16 and let Facebook crop the video where necessary, or should we upload 4:5 AND 9:16 videos and manually choose the placements to suit? Cheers!

@Lucas Spinella I've watched the crafting angles video a couple of times and I’m still honestly at a bit of a loss as to how to pull ideas out of the avatar document for potential angles (you had most of your angles already set up in the document) …it would be great to see your thought process for how you look at each of those sections in the avatar document, what you’re looking for and how you turn those ideas and bullet points into something that could be an angle..? You also mentioned that most people miss a dominant emotion aspect to their angle, I’m wondering how you use emotion to help craft your angles…? Big thanks in advance!

Hey guys! ...on adding text when video editing in Native Ads, @Noah Hunter Dorsey mentioned using a TikTok style font - what is the name of the font you're using there? ...and are you just creating the text in the likes of Photoshop? Can you please share how you're creating the text that you place on the video timeline? Big thanks in advance!

Hey Guys, I have been researching all sorts of types of facebook ads - before and afters, reviews, stills, videos + 50 more. I have just ended up with heaps of ideas and not sure where to start. What is the best way to prioritize and arrange my tests and keep track of my learnings off the platform. Do you guys use Monday.com or Notion etc? What is your board layout? Sorry its a bit of a random question haha

Hey guys, today i'm sharing something that probably you guys already seen it before, or even used it in your brand. Pre-sell pages. Its kinda counterintuitive to throw traffic to a page before you product page. 1. The user will have more barriers till the checkout 2. More clicks before buying 3. Raised the chance to them bouncing out But, we ran multiple tests at Shine and Javy and realized that using pre-sells is a money making machine and can 2,3,4x your CR% and cut you CAC by more than a HALF! In the book: Breakthrough Advertising, written by the GOD of copywriting, Eugene Schwartz, he said: "Don't sell anything until the person its already sold" And thats why pre-sells are essentials while running Direct Traffic. These the best performing pre-sells we used last year. Use it to get inspiration and adapt to your own brand - https://try.javycoffee.com/a/a12/ - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/6-reasons-scratch/au.html - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/a3/ - https://ordershinearmor.com/a/6-reasons-fqc/

Hey all! Looking for some advice/info about FB ads. I am about to launch a new campaign and want to just focus on broad targeting. In @Noah Hunter Dorsey 's ad account video, he says he starts by running 2 adsets each with 3-4 ads in each. Is there any difference between these two adsets? What would be the benefit of splitting them up? The campaign would exit the learning phase quicker if I just had them all in the one adset. I've also been told that they'll bid against each other if I do it this way. Just want some clarification on this, and whether this is still how CC are doing things :) Also want to say how beneficial these courses have been to my business! Super excited to get a whole new set of ads going using NAM's process 🙌

Hey guys, do you have any example contracts you get your content creators to sign? Or anything that give licensing rights to use their content for advertising purposes? Big thanks in advance!

I’m hearing this constantly, especially from new ecommerce founders. But after creating ads for 600+ brands, And being able to look inside facebook ad accounts… Here’s the truth. Facebook Ads don’t work in 2022 - IF you’re doing it the old way. It’s true, since iOS, it is getting harder to scale. Costs have increased. It's harder to track. Ads die faster. I’m not going to sugar coat it and say that it’s “easy” It’s hard. But it’s very very doable. (and to be honest, it’s the only option to actually scale) Here’s how we’re winning with facebook ads in 2022: #1 Stop “Media Buying” Hacks Most marketing agencies make their money off this. And it doesn’t work. Every month there’s some new tactic and strategy to try and “outsmart the facebook algorithm”. Audience-testing/ Different bid optimisations. It’s BS. Sure, it can get you quick wins, but long-term your campaigns will die and your results will be inconsistent. Instead, you want to let the algorithm do its thing. Spend more on a single broad audience and let it rip. Our media buyer literally uses open targeting (no targeting at all) and lets the algorithm do its thing. Yes, it does take a few days to warm up, but when it does you can eventually scale and get super consistent results. But this won’t work unless you have solid creative, and more specifically: #2 Short, Punchy UGC Video Ads With reels, TikTok & shorts being hot right now, Attention spans are shorter, Which means your video ads need to be shorter too. They need to be snappy, with quick cuts, and sell your product quickly & effectively. This means higher % watch time, lower costs, cheaper purchases and ultimately more room for scale. As a rule, ideally the product & main value prop is in the first 5 seconds. Plus ideally, the actual video goes for 15-30 seconds. So by: #1 Letting the FB Algorithm do it’s thing & #2 Creating short, snappy UGC videos You’ll give your store the best chance at winning on Facebook in 2022. (We’ve worked with 600+ brands, so we know that this is working right now)

Hi CC's and @Lucas Spinella in particular... I'm putting together my research doc and about to take a look at competitor reviews ...and I'm wondering if there are any tools / software / apps that can 'mine' product reviews from other websites and throw them into a single spreadsheet? (I have all of our own product reviews funnelling automatically into 1 spreadsheet and it makes things easy to find, it's so easy to search our own product reviews for whatever I'm looking for - was just thinking it would be awesome to have the same resource for competitor reviews as well to look at commonalities for hooks / angles etc) Big thanks in advance!

Hi Noah, CC team and community. Just wanted share a basic Ad we made for our product (pre tied fishing rigs). The Idea for our ad was generated while watching your training course and seeing your ad of the spinning container of cream. It's now got 800 + likes and 400 + comments. View at the below link. https://fb.watch/hWrsrG0Kdc/ Not saying our ad is perfect or anything - if you have any advice they would actually be great. It's just a basic spinning spool inside a cheap Aldi Photo light box on a 3 second loop. (we didn't even get the loop in the right spot to make it look continuous) but its been doing a great job for us. Love all your work and its all been super relevant helpful to our small business at rigmate.com.au We haven't implemented all of your stuff on our website yet but do plan to do so. Many Thanks James

Butttttttt it is also an important (and fun!) aspect of marketing, branding and communication for your business. Creating content is like baking a cake - it takes a little bit of planning, some key ingredients, and a whole lot of creativity and having a solid strategy for creating and sharing content can help you connect with your audience and drive traffic to your website or social media channels. Here are some tips for creating engaging content: 1. Identify your target audience: Before you start creating content, it's important to know who you are creating it for. Consider the demographics (age, gender, income, likes, dislikes, who do they follow on social media, what kind of content do they consume themselves, who do they aspire to be) of your audience and tailor your content accordingly. 2. Set clear goals: What do you want to achieve with your content? Is your content designed to sit at the top of the funnel for brand awareness VS middle of funnel for retargeting warm audiences VS bottom on funnel for closing hot audiences? The different parts of the funnel will require different key triggers (hooks, problems & solution, call to actions) so set your goals beforehand and know exactly what you want your content to achieve. 3. Plan ahead: It can be helpful to create a content calendar to map out what you will be creating and when. This can help you stay organised and avoid last-minute panic when it's time to publish a new piece of content. 4. Have compelling hook: The hook is often the first thing that consumers see, so it's important to make it catchy and interesting. A strong hook will grab the consumer's attention and encourage them to watch then click through to your website / socials. 5. Promote your content: Share your content on your social media channels. Consider organic posting, paid ads, spark ads or reaching out to influencers to post. By following these tips, you can create high-quality, engaging content that your audience will love. Happy creating!

Codie Sanchez quit her job on Wall Street and became a serial entrepreneur and investor focusing on the niche of “boring businesses”— car washes, laundromats, vending machines, etc. She built a $30M portfolio of 25 of these businesses that produce 8 figures in revenue. I often find myself watching her TikTok's or Instagram reels for guidance and inspiration. Here is one I stumbled across, that all business owners should watch. Click here. What is your business multiplier ?

If you are a beauty client, close up shots will help elevate your content. Showing a close up of a glowing cheeky bone, a swipe of your product across the skin and close ups of beautiful skin is going to make your content appear aesthetic, aspirational and get people watching!

They can look good. They can make content that looks good. They can read a script and follow a brief. They can grow their account and get followers. And that’s super impressive. But selling products, Especially when it's a saturated market Especially when attention spans are shorter Is a different beast. So to get creators to make you ads that actually convert… They need to be briefed. And briefed by someone who: 1. Understands your customers 2. Understands marketing Usually, #1 & #2 go hand-in-hand. The better you know your customers, Their pain points, Their desires, Their questions, Their skepticisms, Why they buy, How they buy, The better ads you’ll create, and the better they’ll convert. I read somewhere that the top copywriters in the world spend 90% of the time researching, and 10% actually writing. So how much research are you doing? When you do research correctly, whether that's with your own customers or competitors customers, you: - Have an unlimited number of ad angles & ideas ready to launch - Have the insights you need to make sure these ads actually work So before you go and let an influencer “freestyle” some videos for you Ask yourself: “Can they sell my product better than I can?” If they can - do some research. Get researching. If they can’t - teach them how too. And put it in the brief. AND keep it suuuper specific so they can't mess it up. So get briefing, & keep scaling! Noah P.S. If you want to know exactly how my agency does research, writes scripts & briefs influencers - I can give you the copy + paste blueprint in my course 'Native Ads Machine'. It was a pleasure to work closely with Vitable as a video editor, to help the brand scale its budget and keep their CPO at the $90 level. This ad alone made 420 conversions ($89.5 CPO). You can watch it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E9vwybWwTGuUZswq6wwuHrYhjYMSgKqv/view. Here’s a summary of their first ad campaign with us: ✅ CC creatives help scaling budget and keeping the CPO at the $90 level ✅ Male content creators performed better than female creators ✅ Multiple creators per video perform less than single creators. Exception: the conversational ad between two female friends performed well ✅ “Confusion of choice” and “showing delivered products in a native selfie perspective” are good opening hooks ✅ Ad angles around “How the quiz works”, “quality and health focus”, “overwhelmed by options” perform the best ✅ Boomerangs don’t perform well ✅ For the CTAs it seems like a clear message at the end like “Take the quiz” or “It will change your life” are good conversion drivers. Always include a CTA. ✅ Short copy performs better than medium length copy ✅ Discounts: no clear takeaways, it seems like “no discount” performed similarly well to 30% discount. ✅ Video duration: medium length videos (20-40 seconds) made up for the majority of winning creatives Ever since working with them in 2021, the vitamin brand has come back for 2 more rounds of content. If you haven’t checked them already, you can take their vitamin quiz through this link: www.vitable.com.au

We always recommend repurposing your TikTok content & running them as ads on META and other social platforms. We have seen amazing results from one of the largest haircare& hot tools brands in the world who ran our first month of TikTok content as ads on META suite which achieved an average ROAS of 7. Consumer behaviour online is constantly changing so adaptation is paramount. Trendy, fast paced, storytelling content is what's working now... so what's next?
