My name is Mike, I am an ordained chaplain and the founder of an organization called Christians Against Domestic Abuse "CADA" and I’ve created Covenant & Care as a space for thoughtful Christian formation around marriage, family life, and pastoral responsibility.
This community exists for learning, reflection, and discernment — not quick answers or easy fixes.
One Bible verse that has deeply shaped how I think about marriage is 1 Corinthians 11:3:
“But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.”
For me, this verse reminds us that marriage is never just about two individuals. It is situated within a larger moral and spiritual order, where authority is accountable, power is relational, and covenant is shaped by Christ Himself — not by control, entitlement, or fear.
In this community, we will take Scripture seriously, while also taking harm, power, and responsibility seriously.
