I am a huge follower of Jesus, and I have always felt a very deep connection to God. In 2019, I was in a thrift store with my sister, and I picked up the book A Course in Miracles. Having heard about it before, I decided to buy it and see what it was about.
I started reading it, and I could not put it down. I read it in any free time I could find. I read it for hours and hours in a sitting. I first read through the text, trying to see if it conflicted with what I believe as a Christian. I did not really find anything in the text that conflicted with Christianity. What I did find was a deeply loving and profound book that, in my opinion, had to be Divinely written. The author of this book knew more about me than I knew myself. The wisdom in it was like nothing I had ever read. The entire book discusses the importance of depending on God, listening to the Holy Spirit, and how important it is to love others. Loving others is loving yourself. To me, this book explained some of Jesus's teachings in more depth than I had ever read before.
I feel like those who think A Course in Miracles conflicts with Christianity have not actually read it. I have created this community because it has been very hard for me to find Christians who openly love A Course in Miracles. We will go over some of the concepts in the book and how beautifully they can help us understand how to live like Jesus lived.
Please join me, and let's see where this journey takes us.
