Your kindness, your insight, your patience — these are not personal possessions; they are gifts entrusted to you for the benefit of others.
Today, look at one of your strengths and ask, "Who needs this from me today?" Then give it freely, without keeping score.
When you treat your gifts as entrusted rather than earned, you naturally start treating other people the same way. Their worth is not what they produce; it is what they were given.
