Our mission is to advance safe, ethical, and patient-centered cosmetic dentistry through education, mentorship, and collaboration, empowering dental professionals across Nigeria and around the world.
History of Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited
History and Development
The Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited was founded by Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu, whose passion for mentoring dentists, promoting ethical cosmetic practice, and improving patient care helped shape a strong national platform for professional development.
The Academy was inaugurated on October 27, 2017, beginning with seven pioneer members. By January 31, 2018, membership had grown to fifteen and has continued to expand significantly, supported by an active WhatsApp and Zoom learning community. Hands-on lectures and seminars are scheduled to begin soon, both online and in person.
In 2018, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) launched an international membership referral challenge. Through dedication and outreach, Dr. Ajadalu recorded the highest number of global referrals, winning the Member-Get-a-Member Award (2017–2018).
The award ceremony was held in Chicago on April 18, 2018, at McCormick Place, and was attended alongside colleagues Dr. Olabade Olayemi and Dr. Johnson Adetoye, former Faculty Chairman, Family Dentistry, National Postgraduate Medical College, Ijanikin, Lagos.
Profile — Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu
Dr. Monica Vincent Ajadalu is a professional Cosmetic Dentist, Family Dentist, Denturist, Dental Radiographer, and Public Health Professional with extensive experience in clinical practice, dental education, and professional leadership. She is the Founder and President of the Cosmetic Dentistry Academy of Nigeria Limited, an institution dedicated to advancing excellence in cosmetic and restorative dentistry through training, mentorship, and professional development.
She has received advanced training and certifications in the following areas:
· Implant Surgery
· Guided Bone Regeneration
· Occlusion Design
· Endodontics & Mastering Composites
She actively participates in the Phelan Dental Seminars training programs in Ontario, Canada, continually upgrading her clinical skills.
Beyond clinical practice, she serves in professional organizations including:
· Board Member, Internationally Trained Dentist Association of Canada (ITDAC)
· Member, Canadian Pure Breed Institute Inc., Toronto, Canada
· Member, Diaspora Action for Democracy in Africa
She is also an active member of the Digital Boss Academy, where she mentors professionals in content creation, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, and online business development.
Her vision continues to inspire growth, collaboration, and excellence among dentistry professionals across Nigeria, Canada, and around the world.

· Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)

· BDS certificate or recognized dental professional certificate
