What we’re doing:
- The Pharr Refactor — Rewriting the classic Pharr textbook for modern minds and adults with busy lives.
- Tech-Leveraged Learning — Smarter drills, spaced repetition, and flow-focused methods that will get us over the memorization speedbumps. I'm planning to provide web tools to help you learn, building as we go.
- Build-in-Public — Universities are shutting down the classics, and the Greek classrooms are empty. you’re helping shape the future of Homeric Greek pedagogy. Making it accessible outside of the ivory tower.
- The Goals — 1) Gain the ability to read Homeric hexameter out loud, in meter 2) Be able to work your way through the original texts with 'helps' (vocabulary, grammar, commentary) 3) Develop your own informed opinions on translations.
