DAY 3: Gather Supplies & Set Up Your Workspace
Task: Get your supplies together. You don't need much to start:
Basic supplies:
- Canvas or Gallery paper (start with 12x9 or 11x14)
- Acrylic paints (basic color set — under $20)
- Brushes (variety pack — under $15)
- Cup for water
- Paper towels
- Palette or paper plate
- Pencil for sketching
Set up your workspace:
- Find a spot with good lighting (near a window is best)
- Lay down newspaper or plastic if needed
- Get everything within arm's reach
Post a photo of your workspace and supply list in the Day 3 thread.
Why: You don't need expensive supplies to start. Most members start with under $50 in materials. Having your space ready removes excuses.
Proof Format:
