Twenty years ago, I started in construction doing “grunt work” digging holes, demolishing walls, sweeping floors, cleaning job sites.
I earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering Technology and an MBA while working full time for a mechanical design-build contractor.
In all that time, no client or employer has ever asked about my degrees, and I’ve never needed my course materials.
What has mattered is solving problems, delivering for clients, and leading teams.
That’s taken me to over $1B in project value across the U.S. and Canada, in roles touching retail, hospitality, healthcare, public transit, labs, commercial offices for Fortune 500s, and more.
Today, I’m an executive at an ENR Top 10 contractor, leading a new business line aimed at changing how our industry delivers work.
