It’s the start of a new month, and the evenings are getting darker and colder here. Perfect weather for cosy moments to experience together and simple language to model. If it is cold where you are, when you're outside or feel that chilly air, see if your child notices. Try modelling little phrases like: “It’s so cold! Brrr!” “So chilly!” “I'm freezing… shiver shiver!”
These small, playful comments help your child hear meaningful language right in the moment, naturally. Just naming what you notice and sharing it together can create a lovely connection, even on a frosty day. 🧣❄️
