I got an influencer's insta

This is the first big win of 2026 for me—and a much-needed one.

Background: The past few weeks haven’t been good for me socially. I’d hit a plateau. All kinds of excuses were creeping in, and I wasn’t able to talk at my full capacity. I also had some personal and professional issues to deal with, so this win matters.

In the afternoon, I went for a walk and saw two foreigners who were probably doing a photoshoot. I wanted to talk but figured I’d do it while coming back. On my way back, I saw them sitting, and I complimented them as I passed by. I got a simple “thank you,” but it felt cold.

In the evening, after the gym, I went to my usual place. I complimented a guy, talked to him for two minutes, and it was a good start. Then I asked another guy for directions, which helped keep the social momentum going.

Then I saw a girl sitting near a bench. I went up to her and asked a question: “If you got a superpower for a day, what would you choose?” This started a conversation, and we talked for five minutes. It was a fun convo.

After that, I saw a girl eating something and wanted to talk to her, but I decided to wait until she finished. Once she was done, I went up to her, complimented her hair, and started the conversation.

She said she’s an influencer with 200,000 followers on Instagram. I was surprised because the way she spoke wasn’t like a typical influencer. We talked about spirituality, career, places, and a lot of other things. We talked for 45 minutes.

I got her Instagram, and since I had to leave, I said goodbye. Before that, we made plans to meet tomorrow.
