๐Ÿš€ Greetings to everyone here! ๐Ÿš€
I hope you are having a great week. ๐Ÿ’ช
We are here to make things happen for one another in business, finances, and building generational wealth. ๐Ÿš€
I am going to share my life and business journey below. ๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŽฑ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ‘
This is so you can get to know me better and hopefully motivate you to take action!๐Ÿ†
Please excuse the long post. I'm old, and it's been a long life! Lol ๐Ÿ˜
My Story From Dribbling a basketball in Diapers to Building a Life of Freedom, Family, and Financial Power! ๐Ÿ€
I grew up in the wide-open spaces of Southern Colorado, where dirt roads and early mornings shaped who I am. As a kid, I was addicted to movement and challenge. ๐Ÿš€
Before I could talk properly, I was dribbling a basketball, and I kept playing organized ball from second grade all the way into my 40s. That love never faded. But it wasnโ€™t just the court that called me.๐Ÿ€
I spent countless hours riding horses across our family land, soaking in the stillness and strength of the animals beneath me. ๐Ÿ‡
I hunted birds with my shotguns, practiced my rifle skills by lining up little army men and cowboy figurines to test my aim with my BB gun and .22, and fell head-over-heels for the video game Cheyenne. (Western game shoot 'em up Cowboy Style) ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ”ซ
Growing up on a farm, working was a way of life. I helped my family raise crops, animals, and revenue, and eventually managed our seasonal fruit and vegetable market for 17 years. That stand was more than just a business, it was where I learned the power of community, hustle, and making a dollar stretch. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ…
At 16, I started my first side hustle selling used produce containers. ๐Ÿ’ผ (1982)
By 1995, I transitioned into financial services and ran a full-time insurance and financial planning agency for eight years. ๐Ÿ’ฒ
The family business had been tough on me, and even though I was building a new business with the Insurance agency and financial planning, my credit cards were maxed out, and I was struggling to keep up with payments. (This happens in a family business when there is more family than money) ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ
When my father passed away in 1997 and the family went to the funeral home, I stayed home making phone calls and finalizing a bankruptcy.
Everything changed in the fall of 1999.
Thatโ€™s when I met Rebekah, the love of my life. We met on AOL, when meeting someone online was still considered wild. ๐Ÿ’˜
The very first day we met in person, we went to see Chris LeDoux at the Colorado State Fair. It was one of those moments that felt instantly timeless. ๐Ÿค
It turns out that both of our dads had worked at the Pueblo Army Depot back in the day, but neither of us had any idea until much later. We even shared several mutual friends and had somehow never crossed paths. Fate has its funny ways. ๐Ÿค”
Rebekah didnโ€™t just join my life, she joined the mission. ๐Ÿ’ช
She quit her two jobs, stepped into the financial services world alongside me, and we built it together.
Times were still tough, and money was always tight.
The financial service business became lean after 9-11-2001 (We were living on my renewal income)
She was all in when I wrote that infamous $300 hot check back in the spring of 2002 to start a restaurant by renting the kitchen inside a bar. (This was for her Birthday. Rebekah always wanted a restaurant.) ๐ŸŽ‚
I asked the bar manager to hold the check till Friday, and we used a credit card to supply the kitchen. We made enough money to cover the check by Friday, but the restaurant business in a bar was a tough way to make a living. ๐Ÿฅธ
Rebekah worked in the kitchen full-time, and I ran a tractor on my cousin's farm as an $8-an-hour side hustle. ๐Ÿ’ฒ
.
We had not yet made a living from the kitchen after several months of extensive effort.
Rebekah said her step-mom raised 11 kids, selling burritos on the streets. ๐ŸŒฏ
We quickly identified a niche in providing breakfast burritos and sandwiches to local businesses.
This led to wholesale sales of frozen food and eventually to supplying convenience stores. ๐Ÿช
That business exploded, eventually doing over eight figures in sales. ๐Ÿ’ฒ
We did it all ourselves. No venture capital. No silver spoon. Just grit, trial-and-error, and the belief that we could make something big. ๐Ÿ’ฐ
(This was along with maxing out several credit cards, using my stock options, and a renewal account from the Insurance business)
At the same time, the frozen burrito business started cranking in money, we were quietly building a real estate empire, buying, selling, flipping, and renting, from single-family homes to commercial buildings, and now even a hotel. ๐Ÿจ
And yep, we also started a karaoke company along the way, because why not? ๐ŸŽค (2011)
Of course, I never stopped playing pool. ๐ŸŽฑ
I started at age 10 in my dadโ€™s basement. 8-ball, 15-ball rotation, and cutthroat. By 14, I was sneaking into the tavern behind our house, matching up with grown men.
At 15, I was in teen nightclubs, holding my own. By 16, 9-ball became my game of choice. 9๏ธโƒฃ
By 18, I was reading pool books, running drills, and dragging my girlfriend to the table with a 12-pack to count how many balls I could sink in a row. (Legal drinking age in Colorado was 18 for 3.2% in the late 80s) ๐Ÿบ
That love for the game evolved into my online course and community, where I teach fundamental pool skills and share current and past news and events in the world of billiards.
I also published a book on 8-ball and built a digital course funnel with free fundamental training.๐ŸŽฑ
Iโ€™ve been in the online game for a long time. I began fundamental training in pool/billiards in 2005, and had been doing some affiliate marketing before that.
One of ClickFunnelsโ€™ first customers, Russell Brunson himself, did my onboarding over Skype.
I attended the first Funnel Hacking Live in Vegas and helped reverse-engineer a membership site with over 1,000 paying members. ๐Ÿ’ฒ๐Ÿค‘ (Funnel Hacking)
Before that, I was involved in building a social network called "People String." (I was able to build a network of over 20,000 people before the founders folded the company, leaving everyone hanging.)
Farming, Retail, Recruiting, Training, Sales, Affiliate Marketing, Digital Education, and e-commerce, Iโ€™ve touched nearly every piece of it.
These days, Iโ€™m more focused than ever. Iโ€™ve launched four Skool communities:
  • Pool Skool to help people improve their game and enjoy one of the greatest sports ever invented.
  • Forensic Credit Score Masters to help people fix bad credit and eliminate debt.
  • Cash Flow Association to help everyday Americans finally win with money.
  • Cash Flow Masters for individuals seeking personalized guidance and hands-on support with credit and wealth building. (Hand holding, done with you and done for you when possible)
Why? Because 92 out of 100 Americans hit retirement age either dead or dead broke. That stat hasnโ€™t changed in over 30 years, and Iโ€™m done watching people suffer in silence. ๐Ÿ˜’
We begin with credit repair and debt relief, then transition into Infinite Banking and the mastery of actual cash flow, from dividend investing to business building.
My goal for 2025 is to help 1,000 people level up their bank accounts, utilizing Infinite Banking when possible, and increase cash flow through additional income streams simultaneously. ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’ต (Generational Wealth is the Target)๐ŸŽฏ
Building the Pool Skool to 1000 active members is also on the goal list for 2025. ๐ŸŽฑ
This journey started on a tractor. In a pool hall. On horseback. In a produce stand. And with a $300 check that shouldโ€™ve bounced. ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŽฑ๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŒฝโœ…
But here we are, and the best is yet to come. ๐Ÿš€
