When is it a good time to remove inactive members?
Because the discovery algorithm takes into account level of member involvement is it beneficial to remove inactive members? Will this help increase the ratio/percentage of members:activity?
My focus is on serving active members and NOT on having inflated numbers for perceived popularity.
Recently I personally emailed every member who has been inactive for over 200 days and invited them to take another look, and also mentioned ... "...if you are no longer interested in being a member of the forum please let me know so I can make the update (and you will no longer get the Skool emails which may still be coming to you).
Best practice? I don't know. But it is personal.
What do you think?
Is 200 days of inactivity grounds for dismissal?
