Notifications for hidden posts

I tried searching this in the group but couldn’t find anything about it.

I have two pinned post for my group but I am wanting to hide them so I don’t have to scroll through them every day multiple times per day.

Yet, I don’t want to miss any comments/notifications on the pinned posts. If I hide those, will I still get notifications about any new comments? If not, I would like to request that that be added.
