Leaderboard points for attending Q&A calls

I posted this in Uplevel, but I thought I'd post it here, too.

I expect that my course will get much better results when people attend the weekly Q&A/coaching calls, as it includes dealing with some levels of addiction, and live meetings are crucial for success.

I was wondering if it would be possible, at some point, to award points for attendance at Q&A calls. And also, to be able to just award points in general.

I know we can use gems for good content, and good content gets comments, which lead to points, but it seems having the option to award points, as an admin, would be great.

Community is essential, and anything to encourage that would be great. Gamification is a great feature, and I'd love to see more admin ability to use it as a carrot (as in carrot and stick), as opposed to it being purely automated.

I imagine this has been discussed, but I'd love to get thoughts from you guys.
