Invites and Cold Calling Members

Couple of questions about the above guys. I have had a couple of invites sent to my email to join a Skool group. First, is this ok to do and second, how are they doing it when I haven't given them my email. I am only asking as curious in how, is this a thing I have missed on how to do?

Also what are everyones views on cold calling other members on here? I get a LOT of them especially from dropshippers and they are very persistent even after I explain I am not interested, they ask WHY AM I NOT INTERESTED! Feel a little like I am being hounded, surely when you cold call someone, if they tell you not interested shouldnt that be enough?

Im still finding my feet as never done 'sales' in this way before. Thanks in advance 💖
