Invite Quirk
Hello again - I was playing around with invitations and sending to a particular email address of mine (I have too many, don't ask why), and I noticed two quirks:
  1. Invite I sent to one email, then allowed that person (me in this case) to use a different email to create account. My membership situation revolves around a CRM database, tied to specific email addresses for each member/client.
  2. After that setup, I copied the invite URL on email CTA, and posted into another incognito browser, it let me set up (request) yet another account by clicking on the join button, using a different email address again. It did take me through the whole process, sent a verification code, uploaded a photo, then it got to membership pending on screen (as the group is invite only).
If your group is closed, and invite only, is this not something that could create a mess with a bunch of people trying to create an account who were not invited? And how could we prevent people from using a different email? I envision the system responding, when trying to register w/ a different email in the invite email, to block the person from proceeding?
Am I missing something in settings, perhaps?
