Case Study. User Feedback
Hey Skool Community,
I hope your week is off to a great start!
I wanted to provide some Case Studies that have helped my communities grow, and may be useful in helping yours grow too.
  1. Live Events: We recently just completed our 5-Day in-person Live Event, and our Skool Communities have been significantly more active since this event. We utilized an "Event Thread" pinned post in Skool for members to comment, post, and share about their Live Event experience. Admins also posted updates during the live event. Overall, using Skool + Live in person Event promoted a "Spark" in the Communities and has strengthened the bond among members.
  2. Breakthroughs: My students love posting "Breakthroughs" in the communities. We have a Category for "Breakthroughs". We also teach in our Course to celebrate "Breakthroughs" (even the smallest of breakthroughs, as small breakthroughs lead to big breakthroughs). This has provided a positive feedback loop for the members who post a breakthrough, get great feedback from other members, and become motivated to accomplish more breakthroughs.
  3. Activity Streaks: My top members love the "Activity Dashboard" on the profile pages. Without prompting, my top members are motivated by the Activity Dashboard, and they compete with each other to see who can get a 5-10 day "Dark Green" Streak. I think this can be a secret weapon for Skool to lean into this feature and have an emphasis on "Streaks".
  4. Learning through teaching: I've been getting feedback from my top students who really like helping others. When members have questions, my top students are keen on attempting to solve their problems even if they have limited experience with the actual question or problem. This motivates them to test their own solutions, and gives them a sense of obligation to implement the solutions themselves and therefore receiving progress as a result. (Not the most tangible case study, but I thought it was interesting).
Anyway, I thought this feedback may be helpful for folks. Let me know what you think!
