3 Things That Would Make It WAY Easier for Me to Refer People to Skool
During office hours, I asked Sam what Skool's marketing strategy will be (Ads, Organic, etc.) and he said 'word of mouth'.
And now they've released the affiliate program which is cool BUT...
As much as I love Skool... (I use it everyday & have 100+ paying members in my group)
And as focused as I am at helping people start their own memberships which Skool *Would Be* perfect for...
It's still hard for me to get ppl to A) get people use my Skool affiliate link and B) become Skool users
Because of these 3 reasons:
1) There is no benefit for THEM in using my link.
Right now I'm telling people if they use my link I'll hop on a 30 min Zoom call w em to set it up... not scaleable.
Solution: Give them a longer free trial (or a % discount) for using my link.
2) The Zapier --> Skool webhook integration is 'too advanced' for beginners.
Solution: Let us create a basic landing page that lets us take payments directly on Skool.
I appreciate that Skool wants to focus on being the best 'after the sale' platform, but a simple checkout feature could get way more people using Skool since it'd make things A LOT more beginner friendly.
3) There is still no webhook for unsubscribing members or 'suspending' them when they fail to pay their membership fee.
Out of my 150 members on Skool, at least 10 of them shouldn't be in there but I've yet to remove them cause it's a pain in the a%%.
Solution: I'll let and solve that one ;)
LOVE YOU 👆 ❤️ And see you in Skool :)
