As I started to get within a pitching wedge of hitting retirement, I realized I had a problem.
Despite playing by "the rules", market shifts, supporting grandkids, and my own inattentiveness left my retirement savings missing a crucial second comma. I was on track for the "40-40-40 plan": working 40+ hours weekly for 40+ years, only to retire on 40% of my income. That wasn't going to cut it.
That led me to network and affiliate marketing. After investing considerable time learning the ropes—making mistakes, embarrassing myself, and banging my head against a few walls—I discovered something exciting: you can build a substantial income from home without working full-time hours.
