Another Dominant Win for Combathlete, Liz Carmouche
I have a theory that when Liz grabs hold of her opponents, there's a genuine 'Holy Shit!' moment where they're in real disbelief at the strength differential between Liz and themselves. Imagine feeling that level of hopelessness knowing that your entire body simply cannot compete with what's in front of you. Over the last 10 months, Liz and I have been working hard together to create levels of strength, power, and resilience that are beyond what most competitors have. Not to mention weaponising Liz's gas tank so that she can utilise pacing as another tool to get the win. This past weekend, at the PFL Women's Flyweight Semi-Finals, Liz dominated her opponent everywhere. The clinch, wall work, on the ground, in striking exchanges up top, and kick exchanges down low. Even starting the first round by elbowing a huge hematoma on to her opponent's forehead, leaving her looking like a walking panic button. Liz is one of the most incredible athletes I have ever had the privilege of working with. I can't take responsibility for the two decades of physical activity that will have contributed to her athleticism and physical development before me, but I can tell you that it was working with Combathlete that she learned how to OPTIMISE what she already had, plus develop a bit extra. Not to mention undergoing the easiest weight cuts of her entire MMA career working with us. A massive congratulations to one of the coolest, and most professional legends still at the top of the game, as we are now looking forward to the PFL finals in August for that million dollar prize.
