Vibe Coding Madness: OpenAI After DevDay, Dots + ChatGPT Space
Vibe Coding Madness this Thursday: OpenAI just changed the workspace. What should we actually use?
New announcements are exciting. Figuring out where they fit into YOUR work is the part worth studying.
This week, we are putting our Codex setup workshop on hold and diving into OpenAI's DevDay developments, with a focused look at Dots and ChatGPT Space.
What does an always-on assistant change? What happens when your pages, files and shared work have a place to live? And how much of this is useful for the things we are already building?
This is a collaborative study session and case-study lab, not a promise that your business will run itself by lunchtime.
Together, we will:
• Unpack Dots and ChatGPT Space in plain English.
• Separate documented capabilities from the things we still need to test.
• Explore where research, project planning and recurring work could fit.
• Choose one practical community example and test the parts available to us.
• Discuss context, permissions, sharing and what should still require human approval.
• Leave with one small experiment worth trying, including a way to judge whether it helped.
Bring a repetitive task, a half-built workflow, a screenshot or a question. If you already have access, bring what you have tried. If you do not, you can still study the examples and help pressure-test the ideas.
Feature access varies by account and rollout. We will label what we demonstrate directly and what we review from official materials.
