Testing a New Collab Club Experiment: Public Group (Still Paid)
I’m shifting this group from Private to Public to test two things:
1️⃣ Visibility & Growth – With public posts, our content (including Collabortunity posts) will be searchable on Google, making it easier for potential collaborators to find you.
2️⃣ Workshop Access – I’m trialing a 24-hour free pass for monthly workshops, allowing non-members to access them inside this space before deciding to join.
🔥 What This Means for You:
✅ Your Collabortunity posts could get found via Google! If someone is searching for a collaboration opportunity, yours might pop up.
✅ All posts & comments are now public. Anyone (even non-members) can read what’s shared inside this group. So, if you’ve posted something personal before, now’s the time to review/edit/remove as needed.
⚠️ Important Notes:
  • This is just a test. If it causes more issues than benefits, I’ll switch it back to Private.
  • If you have strong reasons why this group should stay Private, let me know—I want your input!
👀 What Non-Members Can See:
  • Map – ❌ No
  • Classroom – ✅ Yes (some locked based on access level)
  • Calendar – ✅ Yes (but event link access depend on settings)
  • Members – ✅ Yes (profiles visible, but no direct messaging)
  • Leaderboard – ✅ Yes
  • Community Posts – ✅ Yes (but non-members can’t like or comment)
I’d love to hear your thoughts—let’s see how this plays out!
