We didn't grow up performing
for strangers.
We didn't learn to talk to a camera
in our bedrooms at 14.
We didn't build our personalities
around what gets likes.
We built careers. Raised kids.
Survived corporate. Figured out
who we actually are.
And now the internet says
the only way to build a brand
is to dance, point at text,
and show our entire face
to people we'll never meet.
