I’ve been working in tech for over 25 years now and have skirted around community forums in all their varying forms across that time. Whilst I’m relatively new here (maybe three months in on VIP). This is the only community I’ve felt warranted a commitment. There’s a lot of very knowledgeable peers, some insightful pro hobbiests who bring a genuinely different perspective to the groups feel. Jake and his team have deep understanding about n the field and are super engaged with the community.

Since Skills became a thing in Claude, I had a niggling that the structure of markdown files and folders could be something more but it was only after I stumbled upon this community and Jake’s channels that it all clicked. This community is more than just the knowledge being shared by Jake, but seeing how everyone is evolving their own capabilities and building amazing solutions is what is most inspiring. And like a true community we’re always open to help others, whether big things or small.

I already completed Navigating the course. I created my github repo account; I have VS Code synced with github repo. I have M365 Business Premium + Copilot+ Teams. I established a OVHcloud account to sync my current AI files into GHL via MCP integration. I also integrated Claude into my VS Code account, with acts as my systems external server from InventiveMarketingAI.com GHL CRM Systems platform. Clief Notes, get started classroom, lead me down the rabbithole worth venturing because, of Jake.

There’s a lot of noise right now. Models, harnesses, tools, skills, skills, skills, skills. The material here cuts through that noise. I’m a person who is tech literate but no developer nor engineer. As a project manager with a background in product design, I was looking to explore AI and where I can leverage it in my career. This community and its content allowed me to understand the foundations/fundamentals that allow you to really build, for free + real life work and templates. 10/10.

This is the spot! You will grow as you learn by building and exploring while connecting richly with others. What is so special is that the people the Jake has attracted through his bold willingness to resist the AI hype are those trailblazers in their fields and passion plays. Most importantly they seem to be inspired by sharing their passion with others patiently and inclusively. Competitions are literally playful and focused on building and exploring.
