Registration is now OPEN!
Today is the day you've been waiting for! If you are interested in giving your own masterclass in the CLASSIFIEDS classroom, the first step is to take the prerequisite workshop, How to Teach a High Value, High Converting Masterclass. This session will be happening LIVE on Sept 15 and registration to attend is now available here. The cost is $27, which also buys you your first masterclass on the calendar. Subsequent masterclasses are subject to a $10 administrative fee. Hosting your own masterclass is an amazing way to enhance your visibility, establish your authority, and show others that you have value to offer. After doing that, you can them invite participants into your community or other paid offers. You provide your own link for the masterclass, so you can promote it elsewhere AND you own the recording, so you can do with it what you like! And, yes, you will have indefinite access to the replay of this workshop, so if you are not able to attend live, you can watch it when it is convenient to you and also refer back to it if you need to. Questions? Ask below!

#FriendFriday 🎉
It's time to celebrate each other! In the COMMENTS BELOW, please share a Skool community you think is doing really great things. It can be one you've participated in yourself or one that you've heard from others is amazing. Please do the following: 1. Tell us the name of the community and link to it (affiliates allowed). 2. Tag the person who owns the community. If they are not in the CLASSIFIEDS, then please send them a DM and let them know that you mentioned them here. I promise you will make their day! 3. Describe why the group is so wonderful and how it has helped you. Please DO NOT just copy and paste the About page! 4. Comment on each others comments and scroll through the referrals to see if there's an amazing group you are missing out on! Thanks so much for supporting each other and this community! Please note that any #FriendFriday mentions that are created as new posts will be deleted. Thanks! Please DO NOT promote yourself. 🤨. The entire community is for promoting yourself. This post is for celebrating someone else. 😊

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

Most posts in here get no engagement for one reason, and it takes 10 minutes to fix
I was talking to one of my clients this week about why her posts weren't landing in a community she'd joined. She was posting good stuff. Nobody was replying. The problem wasn't the posts. It was that nobody in there knew who she was. @Heather Wilson also agreed. Have a look at the feed in The Skool Classifieds (this community you are reading this in), and you'll see it. People turn up, post about their own thing, and leave. Post and ghost. Then they wonder why 2,000 members scrolled past it. It's the same in every other community I'm in, and it was the same in mine before I worked it out. Think about how it works in a room. If someone walks in, talks about themselves for two minutes and walks out, nobody follows them to the door. But if they'd spent twenty minutes talking to people first, they'd have half the room listening when they finally said something. A feed is the same room. It just moves slower. What I'd do instead is pick the communities where the members might plausibly want what you do. Not every community you're in, the adjacent ones. Then spend 5 to 10 minutes commenting on other people's posts. Not "great post". Something that shows you read it. Five to ten posts. Ten minutes. Do that for a couple of weeks before you post anything of your own. Two things happen. People recognise your name when you finally post, so they stop and read instead of scrolling. And a fair few of them turn up in your comments, because that's what people do when someone's been showing up in theirs. Works the same way here as it does anywhere else. Classifieds, someone else's community, your own. Nobody replies to a stranger, and ten minutes a day is what it costs to stop being one. The faster version of this is turning up live. If you want to see who's running events across Skool this week, that's what Skool Events Daily is for.
